Does anyone have any experience with the new subcutaneous endovascular dialysis access?

Subcutaneous access.
Hi and welcome to the community. I only know about it from the reading I've done. In addition to this community, you might post your question in the Kidney Dialysis community. If you get any information from that community, please share it with folks here.
Hi. New to the community. I thought I was in the kidney dialysis community. Sorry
What is it ?
Hi, if you would like to know more about this you can go to bardpv.com/WavelinQ-Patient... for specific information. I first saw it mentioned in the the FALL/WINTER 2020 Kidney Talk magazine from the Renal Support Network.
Thanks for the response, but we saw the surgeon today and he said my daughters veins were too deep for that procedure. Have to get an AV fistula and keep the central line catheter for 6 more months. This is horrible. Not much has changed in dialysis treatment in 40 years.
Too bad, however the graft and AV fistula have been the gold standard for a long time so that should ease your mind. If you wouldn't mind, please keep us informed about the progress.Best of luck.
You're right! Very little has changed in the past 40 years. I've been keeping my eye on new technologies and it moves at a snail's pace if at all. There's a lot of profit in keeping things the way they are. I'm a caregiver to my husband who is on PD dialysis. His dialysis equipment is old school, lots of manual record keeping, etc.
