Hello to anyone who comes across this post ❤️ I just hit my one year for my transplant back in June. Everything is going a lot better than I expected. God is good. ❤️
I’ve been wondering if anyone who reads this has gotten pregnant after their transplant? I don’t plan on having kids anytime soon but I’m a little embarrassed to talk about things like that with my doctors to be completely honest 😬😂😭 I’m just in the twilight zone because it sounds crazy lol
& has anyone ever sweat orange from taking high doses of Prednisone? It happened to me and even the doctors had no idea what was wrong for the longest time so I felt like an alien until my mom googled my prescriptions & found out it was the anti rejection pills lol
Congratulations on your transplant! And that it's gone well for you! I understand you can, indeed, become pregnant at this point in your life, but you'll need to put your inhibitions aside and discuss it with your physician(s) as they may need to change your medications. See the link below. I'm a "senior" at this point in my life and a caregiver for my husband who is on dialysis. So no babies and no prednisone. But we loved having children in our lives. And we truly hope you will achieve whatever your heart desires! kidney.org/atoz/content/pre....
