PATIENTS BILL OF RIGHTS

This is a long look at a Patients Bill of Rights found on the Renal Support Network. It can clarify many things for those of you who need to understand your rights and the need to stand up for them and your health in all situations. I'm posting this, in part, to get a discussion going on where the medical community has failed many of us and what we can do to change this for the future.

You can also find information on your rights as a patient here: kidney.org/atoz/content/dia...

Also there is a new grievance toolkit for dialysis patients created by the ESRD Network here: esrdnetworks.org/resources/...
