Make sure you drink plenty of water. Do you know the cause of your lowered Gfr, if not talk to your doctor. Creatinine levels can sometimes be lowered by changes to diet and ensuring that you are not over doing exercise. However any changes to your diet or exercise should be talked through with your doctor first. To help your kidney function try to avoid taking NSAIDS like ibropufen.
Hi CKD stage 3A
I had similar numbers. Maybe ask your Doctor if a pre-dialysis diet is appropriate. . This diet and exercise routine has improved the numbers on subsequent tests, and reduced creatinine levels some. CKD is a journey but possible to be controlled.

The best thing is to look at your lab work and look at your diet. Are you eating something that will cause a spike in any of the levels. I had one lab that was high that I had no idea what it was. I looked on line and saw that it could be due to liver failure or it could be from taking a specific medication. I happen to take that medication. It said that if I took that medication that I needed to take sodium bicarbonate. I have it, but had not been taking it. Now I realize I need it and have been taking it. Protein is hard on the kidneys. Look at the sources of protein that you are eating. Could you switch to an easier to digest form that your kidneys could handle easier? I eat as little meat as I can. If I haven't had much protein in vegetables, then I may eat some meat, but not much. My protein levels in my blood are actually low, so I can eat more protein. It all depends on your bloodwork.
