Our NHS is in crisis but we should open up and export our excellent health service to other nations instead of closing ourselves in. Millions of excellent Commonwealth Nurses and Doctors are awaiting deployment to the UK after Brexit so we will have no shortage of well qualified staff.
In the USA and the Philippines a horrible system of private hospitals leaches wealth and health from the population so most people would love our NHS in the Philippines, as well as the USA and other countries. Our advantage is the NHS is the most cost effective and efficient health system on the planet, it also covers everyone with nobody excluded.
Joining the Commonwealth is the way every EU nation can stay with the UK and enjoy free trade. Commonwealth nations need to be democratic, decent and royalist so it is quite easy to define steps that places like Germany would need to take to join us.
A keen export led development strategy after Brexit can expand our NHS and share best practices all over the world. Nations that adopt our system can accept our patients and we will accept theirs. Travel between the UK and USA as well as the Philippines will therefore become easier. Australia and New Zealand as well as Canada can all join in our system as well as any former EU nations.
Therefore we can continue the EHIC scheme with nations that want to be with the UK and be OK for Travel, Tourism, Trade and Treaties for investment. We can Save Our NHS and expand to cover the whole world!
Let's celebrate our NHS and our Glorious nation that gave birth to universal healthcare!
