I am new here. I am a British Citizen and going to London to study my post graduate degree next month for one year. May I know how can I enroll the NHS and if there is any fee I need to pay? Many thanks for reply in advance.

Hi, yes, British citizen or not, as a student here you may use the NHS. There is no fee except for any that is included in the cost of your study visa. Find a General Practice close to where you are going to be living, not studying. You can find those close to you by searching online. Call ahead and ask if that Practice is currently accepting new patients when, if that's the case, you'll be asked to go in with some ID and probably evidence that you are studying here, to fill in a small amount of paperwork. Before you are fully registered with the Practice, you will be invited to attend a health check with the Practice nurse.
