I have been adopted by the same people for the most part of my life but they dont have y birth certificate, i dont want to ask them incase it cause's hurt. does anyone know how old you have to be to access my birth certificate and where i can go to find it? really need help!

Over 18 and the general register office if you know your birth details but BIBA if you don't know your birth details. The link has better information.
