Just last year got burning feet so hot that tears would flow. I am not diabetic, don't drink and smoke. My Dr. tests were all Ok. I am still suferring at nights. Iam ok in the day. Most burning is below the knees. The skin is not hot to touch oh the pain. Lots of restless nights.

My experence
I sure can relate to the sleepless nights. I was diagnosed with small fiber peripheral neuropathy in 2011. I now take Lyrica and Tramadol (for the pain) Living with Neuropathy is not fun. My Neurologist gave me an RX for Nortiryptyline which has really helped with sleeping. I thought I would go crazy if I hadn't started getting sleep. Now I seem to be able to handle my symptoms much better with some sleep. I still have all the regular symptoms , feels like I am walking on rocks, or pebbles or glass. Stabbing shooting pains that seem to come out of nowhere. Numbness on the top of my feet and both my big toes. and just general pain in my feet if I walk too much, like going to the mall etc.
I have spent a lot of time reading about Neuropathies, and have found some very good sites/forums that have some great information. I find it is so important to be able to talk with someone that understands what you are experiencing. There are some great Facebook groups , that I belong to as well.
Oh and I am also not diabetic, mine is referred to as ideopathic small fiber neuropathy. There is a possibility that mine may be genetic . I have a brother and sister with neurological problems as well.
