anything I can do to help my poor feet.? Only a short walk can make them feel like I’ve been standing on Lego!

I have B12 deficiency (long covid possible cause) and had my loading injections but waiting to see the gp to discuss further.

B12 symptoms cause loads of health issues, and neuropathy is a painful condition, it's comes in different guises, pins and needles, muscle spasms, twitching eyes lids, a sore tongue, tinnitus, the way people describe leg sensation can be described in many different ways especially if you suffer with neuropathy, as people have problems describing the pains as they vary from each day, people also end up with B12 problems who have stomach problems, or have taken long term omeprazole or something similar, or even had numerous general anaesthetics can affect the stomach lining which causes the good bacteria to get an unbalanced due to the nitrous oxide used during surgery , or people who have had chemotherapy are also susceptible to B12 problems as well, and folk who are diabetic can also have this condition as well,it's important to keep on top of B12 problems, and occasionally folic acid tablets may be required to help if things are showing issues in a blood test, breathlessness and light headedness is something to let you know your are struggling with that sometimes, and some doctors surgeries are trying to push patients health on to tablets which DON'T WORK when B12 injections are required normally for a lifetime , so don't be told after your initial top up sessions you can revert to tablets or see how you go on, your liver can't store B12 ,it's a cost cutting exercise by your health practitioner, especially if your based in England it can end up doing more damage to your health, the doctors will say after your next blood results will say after 3 months your B12 has returned to normal , however they don't retest you and then your problems start, I suggest you ask for more advice on the pernicious anemia page for more advice on the forum this will give you a better insight, there's more knowledgeable folk on there who can explain how B12 problems can affect your life, I hope you start to get your health issues sorted, best of luck 😇
