My story is a long and painful journey. But, in a nutshell, I have problems from C3 right down to S2. Had 2 surgeries already far......

1) laminectomy L4-L5

2) number 1 was unsuccessful. Since had full discectomy L4-L5, with titanium screws and rod. Partial discectomy L3-L4.

Condition is spreading up and down. Now have chronic pain L5-S1-S2. Including the usual sciatica that accompanies trapped nerves. Basically, my spine is collapsing, with scoliosis to boot.

C3-C7 causing all kinds of upper body issues.

Seen 20 surgeons/specialists since 2014. No-one wants to take responsibility. They keep telling me to see a different specialist. I've been the length and breadth of the country, but no joy. Mostly because another surgeon has already operated. Even he refuses to do more because of the risks and low success factor.

So, in brief, there you have it.

By the was, I'm a British citizen living in Romania.

Looking forward to constructive chats and support please. I finding it almost impossible to cope with this invisible enemy.

Regards

Mark
