Fibro and MS

Hi lovelies,

I have Fibromyalgia, Chronic pain in my hands, Chronic Fatigue, and Reynard's.

I'm currently on the waiting list to see a neurologist for what could be peripheral neuropathy. I'm concerned that I possibly have MS. I'm wondering if you can possibly have fibro and MS? I know that they mimic each other in some ways.

I hope that I have not offended anyone by asking this.

Sarah x

Hi, I have shooting pains in my head that travel down my arms in to my finger tips. My fingers are often numb and tingling. I'm exhausted all the time. My balance is interesting to say the least.

My eyes are painful but the optician says they're fine. I get black spots in my vision etc etc etc x

What are your symptoms? X

I've many symptoms that may not be Neurological so I'll mention the neuro ones

3 months ago bad strong pins and needles in both hands and face around mouth

Thought it was TIA with my blood clotting illness but seems not

Then after laying on back of my head for an MRI of head only (not for these symptoms) but checking for strokes due to how it started

I was worse since .... So giddy after MRI room spinning and in scanner left hand went dead after serious string pins and needles

Now pins and needles in hands and feet ... Burning in palms of hands and soles of feet

Stabbing like electric shocks all over

Giddy if I put my head down .. and if I lay on my back pins and needles rage in hands and feet immediately and so dizzy same on left side

So can only lay on right side and that only slightly lessens it all

Seeing Neurologist on 17th of this month

Also have other severe medical issues to deal with so totally exhausted all the time x

I feel for you where do you get pins and needles

And how long at a time

Has anyone said if it’s linked to your fibromyalgia have you got neck or spine issues

I think mine is connected to my arthritis in my neck

I doubt I’ll get actual answers on 17th as neurologist won’t have why Scans to go by only my account of my symptoms
