Expectant Dads with Morning Sickness!

Is this possible? For the last week or so, i have been getting up in the mornings, feeling sick and heaving, with the nauseus feeling lasting most of the morning. My beautiful, 18 week pregnant other half has had none of these symptoms, the Cheeky Monkey

I have heard of this happening! I'm sorry but it made me chuckle! I'm not sure if it's scientifically proven that somehow men can have sympathetic/empathic responses to their partner pregnancy. I have a friend who's partner also got what appeared to be pregnancy sickness, she on the other hand is breezing through her pregnancy with not one symptom other than an expanding belly! Hope your tummy settles and congratulations to you and your partner with your pregnancy! x

It does sound a bit funny " I can only imagine the thought of not being taken seriously" But i actually think its cute. Its not much fun for a woman who needs to suffer with sickness & all the other symptoms which go with it.

Maybe all the symptoms will be reversed back onto her. Dont worry just yet this could possibly be the calm before storm. Haha

I hope you are keeping healthy and would suggest a visit to GP - because its important to stay healthy for both the partners.

The same is happening with my partner ;). I have been nauseous, but he also has and vomited this morning. He also has an iron stomach (though his diet has improved hundred fold since I have been feeding him). I heard that it is called Couvade syndrome. I hope you get better.
