Hey ladies - my 6 month old son is outgrowing his Sleepyhead for daytime naps (he sleeps really well in his cot upstairs but can't always use in the day because my husband works on a shift schedule).

Any recommendations on travel cots that I can use downstairs, for day naps / bed if we're ever away / holding area if I need to leave the room (as he's actively rolling now, just not from tummy to back!).

I have a micralite sleep & go that doubles as a playpen. Currently using it in bassinet/newborn mode as he’s 3m but he sleeps well in that (overnight anyway, naps are a battle anywhere haha), I really like it-sturdy, easy to put up n take down, mattress relatively thick for a travel cot, and zipped end so they can crawl in and out for playing (and I can retrieve as I have a bad back). Xx

I have a basic travel cot and bought a travel cot mattress from Amazon to make it more comfortable. I too have a partner doing night shifts and for a long time my daughter wouldn’t sleep in the travel cot in the day so I used her pram instead x

Highly reccomend the Hauck Dream and Play, we have one at both grandparents and they are really sturdy but also fold away nice and compact! I would say get a separate mattress for it but I think you’d want to with most of them but it’s such a good size, it’s still currently being used for our two year old and he’s huge! It’s decently priced too

I use the Hauck sleep and play one which has been great. It's a disney themed one. The mattress they come with aren't suitable for sleeping though, so check the dimensions and buy a cot mattress. I bought one from Smyths, a mini uno one for about £30 x
