how many teeth does your little 1 have?

hi my baby will be 1 in 3 weeks but still only has his 2 bottom teeth, any1 else baby take longer to get 1st teeth

I’m a childminder and have looked after children who have been over a year old before 1st teeth have even come through. One parent questioned her dentist and it’s not a problem or unusual. My own however, is 14months with 12 teeth already 🙈 they all vary so much with everything x

I’m a dentist, tooth development has approx dates you can find but in reality it tends to be completely random. There’s plenty of one year olds with no teeth, they all get there in the end! Of note if they are early/late with baby teeth they often are the same with adult teeth but really makes no difference

Our LG didn’t have any teeth at a year old, none. But she’s 21 months now and has 12, with 2 more just under the gum xx
