How long after your baby was born, did you periods come back too normal?

7 months later and I’m still having 2 bleeds a month, 1 st is very light but really bad headaches and 2nd is about 10 days after, which is heavy and cramps

Just wondering do they ever return back to normal?

I had this too, although mine went back to normal at around 5 months. I spoke to my GP as I was worried it wasn’t right and apparently it’s really common. I had also started on the mini pill which can cause irregular bleeding as well, although mine was regular as clockwork, just 2 a month!!

Speak to your GP if you are concerned though. I hope things settle down soon x

I know it can take a very long time for them to come back as normal, I’m just used too having a 2 day bleed with no cramps headaches or nothing, so this is all new too me lol. x
