Hello, I am having a difficult time with getting pregnant. My boyfriend and I have been trying for 3 years, we’ve never even almost thought I was pregnant. I haven’t had my period in a year in a half and I’m not on any birth control. I’ve been to the doctors a couple of times and they just told me to eat healthier(I’m not drastically overweight btw). I’m just wondering if anyone has any tips on more helpful things to ask my doctor, or just any advice at all. My mother had four children, so she didn’t have a hard time conceiving at all, so I couldn’t have gotten anything passed down to me I don’t think. Anyways, all responses welcome, just need some hope. Thanks!

3 years is a long time and if you’re missing periods then something isn’t quite right IMO. I’d go back to your doctors and say you want a referral to a fertility specialist and not take no for an answer! Good luck xx
If you're not having periods you need to get this checked and to check you're ovulating. If you're not releasing an egg to fertilise then you won't fall pregnant.
I'd recommend going back to your GP and asking for proper tests into you not having a regular cycle.
Definitely go back to your GP and insist on a referral to check what’s going on with your body, both for your own well being and from a fertility point of view. You may need to be pushy.
