Pregnant?

Hi,

I have had emergency surgery to look at my ovaries 8 days ago. I have missed my period by 3 days so I took a test, I have attached it. I'm worried if I am pregnant if the surgery and xrays have caused harm.

That definitely looks like a positive test to me. Best thing you can do is get a hold of your doctor and let them know ASAP. I was told that x-rays are relatively safe during pregnancy I had to have one when pregnant with my son and he was fine. Allow I was given a lead screen to put around my stomach to minimise the x-rays

I would think the fact you’ve got a positive test 8 days afterwards is a good sign but really you need to speak to a medical professional. Xx

Looks like a positive. Was it first morning urine? If not, test again in the morning and get in touch with your Dr as soon as possible to discuss. Congratulations xx
