My left hand suddenly got weak, especially the two smaller fingers. Is this myositis?

I’m sorry to not have an answer, but I’m experiencing the same. I was just recently diagnosed with dermatomyositis. My symptoms were weakness in upper arms, upper thighs and core, starting months ago. But just recently, I’m experiencing pain and weakness in my hands, especially my two outer fingers, and my forearms. I mentioned it to my neurologist, who said they aren’t typical symptoms of dermato, but that we’ll keep an eye on it and I should mention it to my reumy next time I see her. I also tested positive with SLC-70, so I’m wondering if that it’s related. Good luck!
