I’m looking forward to spring so I can do a little gardening. But so far Mother Nature has other ideas!

We had a few flurries yesterday morning, but this afternoon was warm enough for me to sit outside in the sunshine. Mother Nature's really playing head games with us this year.

This is my first spring in this location and I’m told wacky weather is common. No one plants anything until after Mother’s Day. It’s a very short growing season here.

We are mainly in the low 40s at night now (some lower). The daytime temps can range anywhere from 45° to 80°. It is usually @50°. Today, it might bust 80°! I seen a few dandelions yesterday!!!!!

"When life gives you snow, make snowcones" Ever hear that quote? Me either.😅

I don't plant until May but I start mine inside. We do have have hyacinths and daffodil though.

I’m going to start some seeds inside too. I missed the planting time for bulbs because the weather changed too fast last fall.

oh my gosh!! That is crazy! Although, we had a frost alert this week and I have not been able to put out tender plants… I have nothing to complain about obviously! It was here this morning, but is heating up to 81 this afternoon.. hope you get to garden soon!
