Hot Smoky Days

It’s been smoky for a couple of weeks here in Pocatello Idaho there’s fires 🔥 everywhere in the west. Also hotter than normal 🥵 Have to do outside choirs early in the day. Although because of conditions I’ve watched a lot of the Olympic Games this time and we have been doing well, go America 🇺🇸. Rozy is getting older and a little stiff moving around. Have started her on cbd oil and seems to help a little bit 🙏. Still dealing with neck and back issues and waiting on next injections 🤞🏼 Hope everyone is doing well and have a wonderful day 👍🏼😉

Yes, it sure has been smoky here lately. The excess moisture from the past two winters have produced some fine dry grasses that are such tinder just waiting to go up in flames!

thanks for your update. Rozy is looking as cute as ever. I wish you all the best and hope you can feel as well as possible until your next injections. First signs of autumn aren’t too far off, hopefully that will help with the fires?

Glad to hear an update on you two! We don't really get forest fires here (knock on wood), but things have been so dry that 2 neighboring townships have banned burning for now. I'm not aware of that ever happening before. I do know that I haven't mowed my yard in a good 6 weeks, because the grass just isn't growing.

she looks so cute sleeping upside down ...we have had lots of heat and many fires all around Oregon ...some days the smoke is so bad .......be safe and yes watch the olympics they are so great ...be safe and happy ...loves ..

Really good to hear you and Rozy are doing well.. the fire sound intense, we’ve been down wind before but except for the fires that seemingly burned forever from Canada last summer.. we don’t usually have much problem with that..we have been having some triple digit days and many upper 90’s in central Va but we are finally getting some rain and we will drop into the low to mid 80’s for a week or so🤗 hang in there waiting for relief

Thanks for the update, Kenu! It's good that you're staying out of the smoky outdoors. We had Canadian wildfire smoke last year, and I have asthma, so we missed a few car shows. ☹️ It was bizarre having to check the Air Quality Index every day! Thankfully that hasn't been an issue ths year, knock on wood. Rozy looks comfy! ❤️ I hope your injections help you. 🙏

I'd hate to be in your shoes. Even though the Olympics haven't been to bad I would still feel the need to go outside for fresh air which unfortunately you don't have.

I watched all of the 1984 Olympics while recovering from surgery. There were sports I had never heard of.
