Hot hot hot!!!

I hope you are all staying cool in this hot hot weather. It sure makes me feel unbalanced when it’s so hot. I have to be careful and stay hydrated. How are all of you? It’s 7:20 PM and it’s 102° outside and my little rooster who stays in the shade all day says it’s 98° I’ll go with the 98° !! Ice cream weather for me.😊

I stay indoors mostly when it’s this hot. If I go out for a ride I keep the air conditioning on

carolek572 That sounds YUMMY, great way to make creamy iced coffee. The high today was 102 degrees. And just dropped to 100 degrees at 5:15PM.

We are terrible about whinnying about cold winter 🥶 and hot 🥵 summers🤬. We need to just live in spring and fall 65-70 degrees in the day and 40’s at night, Perfect 👍🙏😉 Ken 🐾🐾

Yes that's pretty hot. At least you don't have the humidity. Here in Akansas the humidity is 50+% with 90's+ degrees. It feels like the air is so thick you can chew it! Stay cool!

Okay, it was cooler than it has been for what seems like forever, only 80 degrees, but 83% humidity! They lied. Every hour or so it poured! That's 100% is it not? (Chicagoland yesterday) I wither in the heat with humidity. However, I can still thrive in the heat of the desert! 115 degrees and 2-3% humidity, wonderful! No air conditioning needed! Really! (Lived in El Paso, Recently went to Arizona)

I would say rain = 100%. I lived in Yucca Valley,CA & 115 degrees was ok,no humidity. We have had so much rain that I don't think we will ever dry out!

Just wait, eventually you will, and if like here (oh wait, you don't have dirt there, you have sand, right?), well here, the dirt dries out after that much water, and lots and lots of heat, it cracks, leaving gaping craters that even the cat has to watch out for. The last rains, did nothing to close them.

I'm in Arkansas now & yes when it dries out it's like you said. We've just had so much rain this year & flooding all over that it doesn't seem like it will dry out.

I used to love that growing up! We practically lived at the lake when it was hot. Now I can't take it, only outdoors for short periods and back into the a/c.

I know right...the heat makes me feel yucky AC is cranking - but have to go out sometimes. I just try to be careful, too much house makes NeeC "stir crazy." I have a doctor 's app. tomorrow 95 degrees; lights pastel clothing and H2O in my purse. Pray before I go for traveling mercy
