Well another rainy dreary day but supposed to warm up this week. Had a migraine yesterday and had to take a Nurtec which always helps 👍🏼 It’s a great medication but I can’t afford it anymore. My cost for 15 pills a month is $467.00 dollars 💸. This is all they allow per month and that’s with Medicare and supplement policy, crazy. I started doing Botox injections last fall and this is helping immensely so I only have server migraines now couple times a month 🙏. I wouldn’t be around if it wasn’t for new technology and findings. Who thought Botox injections in your head for migraines 🤷‍♂️ but it works. Anyway don’t know about you but I’m ready for some warm weather 😜 Sirius XM radio has a special going for $5.00 dollars a month for a year then becomes $10.00. Needles to say I signed up and have it back in my vehicle, Alexa, and tv all included 👍🏼. Was tired of all the adds on radio stations and now have a choice 👍🏼. Hopefully everyone has a great Sunday and stay positive, it could be way worse 🙏👍🏼😉💕

I'm glad the Botox is working for you. Migraines run in my family, and I remember all the times I watched my grandmother and dad live in agony because there was nothing they could do about it. Now my son has inherited them, but he's finally found a treatment that reduces them from several days a week to one or two days a month.

I had migranes when they were working out the best epilepsy medicine for me. I went to the ER twice. The 2nd time the doctor told me if it happens again to take a Tylenol, Benedryl and drink a Coke. That would put all the things in me to get rid of the migraine. I've never forgotten that. Perhaps that would help you?

I’m sorry you can’t afford your migraine med. That’s so unfair. Have you checked GoodRx or Cost Plus Drugs to see if either has it cheaper? Maybe a different less expensive migraine med would work? No one should hav3 to deal wth that level of pain.
