I tend to use that ugly old table lamp from Great-Aunt Mildred at your mother's house that you can't get rid of in spite of the fact that it overheats, shocks people, or stops working without warning. Either that or a frayed extension cord.
Yup. The frayed exposed lamp wires is my go to explanation for all my short circuiting issues. Most folks don't ask for much detail after I say "M.S.". I just get that "look" if you know what I mean. π
"Mommy's immune system gets confused sometimes and thinks my brain and nerves are bad guys, like germs, and attacks them. This makes me sick for a while and leaves boo boos on the inside of my body you can't see. My doctor can see them though, by taking cool pictures of my brain. She also gives me medicine to try to teach my immune system not to hurt me."
That's a good way of putting it! I used to tell people to wrap rubber bands around their toes & fingers until it hurts & then strap 5lb bags of flour to each arm & leg, go without sleep for more than 24 hrs & then try to get on with your day.
TYπ€ Tis just the extra stress tossed into the mix of a mess of a busy 3week sched. And lm a plannerπ€£ l like my lil duckies all ina rowπ Things are done on certain daysπ€£π€£π€ππ
