I completely agree with you

Because I always tell myself

First I was born and after many years MS developed in me

So I am the one who can define it

But there is an important point

Try to be friends with MS and don't fight

Adjusting to MS is like raising a child

Any recommendations on becoming friends with it? It would be appreciated.

Dealing with MS is like walking on a thin bridge

You don't have to pay MS ransom - that is, don't always obey MS command

BUT you shouldn't be careless about it, and MS needs atention

You should always keep the middle ground with MS

Thank you. I'll keep that in mind.

I agree - but some days, it is a struggle (it feels like MS has me on those days).

I have been diagnosed with MS for the last 10 years. It has progressed to the point where I can no longer walk by myself but must use an electric wheelchair. You are correct, MS doesn’t define us, but we must listen to it. For example, today is my horseback riding PT and dinner out, so no other exercise for me today. I am saving it for later. So I will sit on my patio and enjoy the sunshine and nature. MS has made me slow down and enjoy the things that have always been here. This is not where I wanted to be or thought I would be in retirement but I was chosen for this, so make the best of it and do as much as you can of what brings you peace and happiness. Best of luck and God Bless you

I agree with the people who have already posted. I usually tell people that "Every day is a new adventure, you never know what is going to happen next." Learn to look at the good things in life as simple as a wildflower growing by the side of the road. It struggled to sprout there and it persevered & bloomed. Stay positive & be you!😍
