What a wonderful post! I think too often we forget the simple things. Tonight, we're heading over to Mum's for a "dinner" of homemade bread and imported cheeses while we listen to the stock car races over the hill. Unfortunately, it looks like we all may get rained out!

I did! Me and the hubby wanted to make something that used an egg, because we had 2 remaining. So, I looked up different and easy things we could do, and I came across "gingerbread loaf" 😁 and so we made it, and it is absolutely wonderful! The smell from it just coming out of the oven reminded us of our childhoods, baking with our grandparents ♥️ we're going to be using the last egg to make gingerbread people today!
