Royce, I'm curious why you and your doctor finally switched you to Ocrevus? I was told by my neuro that "we would have to fight for it" when I asked him about it.
As you may recall, I was dx young too (age 26 in 1994 and started on Avonex at age 29 in 1997, and continued it until age 52 in 2022, when I switched to 14 mg Aubagio. I'm SPMS now, and my MRI's have been stable since 2004.
You were a long-time "pincushion" too with Betaseron tx, as I was with Avonex tx; I was simply wondering how you finally got onto Ocrevus tx? It's my understanding that it's not too typical for many stable-MRI patients or SPMSers to so easily switch to Ocrevus tx?
So, what is your "secret" or what made your neuro fight for it for you? Did you MRIs change? Did your sx change dramatically?
Sorry to be so noisy, but I'm simply curious. I hope you don't mind my intrusive personal questions. I look forward to your responses.
yes it does and all that see you smiling wonders what you are thinking or have maybe done ...it is so funny to watch their faces and does wonders for others that are having a bad day or are can make them smile and have a better day ...thinking thank you for that ....love and happiness to all no matter what ...
