I spent the afternoon sitting on the back porch with a good book that I didn't read because I was too busy enjoying the sunshine and warm weather! It's supposed to snow again on Saturday....

We were supposed to get a lot of snow here but it's mostly been rain with just a few flakes mixed in. Hallelujah!

Yesterday was another decent day, but today's damp and cold, and I smell snow! They're calling for ice storms up on the mountain.

We had the heavy rain,wind & large hail yesterday & through the night. It's hard to sleep through tornado watches when the wind is blowing so bad. Raided in CA but Been here 30 yrs & still can't get used to it. I guess it's cuz we have been here for the only 2 that have torn up the town.

We spent the day cutting up tree branches that came down after the ice storm in Michigan. Kind of hard on my knees, but we get it done.

So sorry you had to work that hard. We've had to do that here when one of our trees fell,hit a power line & took out the areas electricity in 90 degree heat. Not fun.

When I'm in the house I do my Suzie Homaker stuff in the mornings when they absolutely have to be done & I do have music on it does help. Then I go to my sewing machine. I love to quilt. But I do need to start making myself get outside again.

Oh, I wish! But tomorrow is Saturday. I have much to get done, but that can happen after I sleep in for a bit. Retirement is only a touch over 2 months away!!

I don't have people here who I do things with. Having 2 disabled kids forced me to focus on them instead of keeping outside friends. Now it's time to find some! But I have a list a mile long of things I want/need to do.
