Xmas time

Been getting ready to start my Xmas shopping I am having alot of mobility issues and money issues gonna be a difficult one

Boy can I relate to your post. But, we have to try to soldier on despite how difficult things become. Sometimes I just want to stay under the covers, too! Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers.

I hate Walmart with a passion, but I signed up for their membership club a couple weeks ago. I do enough shopping there that joining is saving me time and money. It won't work for everyone, but maybe it's something you could look into?

My heart goes out to all of you with little ones at this time of year.

NorasMom That is what I finally did! I ordered enough from there since the pandemic that I finally gave in and signed up! I love it.

Yes, but it's very, very dangerous! There's a big difference between having to find someone to run to the store for me and "Oh, gee. I can just push this button and get this today. And that today. And that other thing that I shouldn't be buying." I'm now on a first-name basis with my delivery guy and debating inviting him to Thanksgiving. 🤣

😜 That's how it was when we had a UPS guy delivering items to our house quite frequently (before our move to the new house). He was there frequently and when we didn't have as many frequent orders he inquired lol

I try to limit my deliveries so I don't spend too much, as it is very nice/easy to have things delivered but sometimes too easy to spend too much.

This is the latest I've ever started my Christmas shopping. Money is very tight. Decided to do a couple family gifts instead of buying for each individual person which really adds up. And three birthdays the month of December.

I'm dealing with the same isues. I'm trying to do most of my shoping on-line. Walmart and Target wil ship directly to you. Nobody on my list will get much!

I shop exclusively online haven’t stepped in an actual store forever! . Discount sites are very helpful as long as you look things up that you’re not familiar with to make sure that you are actually getting a deal. On top of great deals. They also have coupons/discount codes. When my kids were little I used to go to a local consignment store that used to have the more expensive toys used for a reasonable price They were very clean and needed to have all their working parts.

You may get it delivered to you free if you shop online.

We had frank discussions with most family and agreed to just not exchange gifts this year. We told our kids that we don’t need more stuff to dust and they shouldn’t waste their money. For the local folks, we asked why don’t we just get together for a meal instead of exchanging gifts. Everyone is happy not to have the pressure.

Homemade gifts might be an option, Jackjosh I still treasure all the ornaments that my daughters made for me when they were little. Keep Smiling
