Fatigue

I'm so tired of the fatigue I feel from MS. I feel like I could accomplish so much more without it. Thank you for letting me complain about it, I know I'm not alone in my suffering.

Have a great Sunday!

Thank you for mentioning this today! I woke up feeling the same way. I was so proud of myself yesterday for finally putting away the case of toilet paper and then chopping up a quart of green tomatoes, but today I was so tired that I could barely fix toast for lunch.

I get that.

I decided to fire my kiln because 90 degree outside temps weren't hot enough,

Last I checked it was at 1600 degrees and made things very toasty.

That sounds like it should be a winter thing. Throw all your projects in the summer & fire them in the winter or would the clay crack?

No problems which is why my hub likes to ask that same question.

😅I do some of the work outside so summer/fall is good for that.

I've got an Aug 15 deadline this time, so I waited 'til the last minute to do it all

😜

Sometimes waiting til the last minute to get things done before the deadline gives us a sense of great accomplishment!🤣

I wonder if I'm addicted to the thrill?

I am so sorry, Krissy. We are right there with you. Between the heat advisories, and losing my father in law day before yesterday, the stress and heat are kicking my back side! Was thinking this morning (as I sat at my vanity trying to apply some makeup, but instead my head was resting on the counter, too heavy to hold it up!), Dr. Boster swears if we exercise every day, it will make some of the fatigue go away. I have GOT to start using my recumbent bicycle, but I'm too dang tired to peddle more than 2-3 minutes. Really missing the "old me" that had boundless energy and a peppy step.... Makes you want to say bad words, doesn't it?

Whispering a prayer for ALL of us that deal with fatigue. Blessings to you!

Teresa

Hi Wizardsmom ! MS can suck the life out of you! Believe me!! I was sleeping alllll the time! Then Royjr told me about Provigil or (modafinil) it's a life saver for me! You can read about fatigue and other ways to help with it right here... mymsaa.org/ms-information/s... Hope it helps!🤗💕🌠

I take Modafinil usually 100mg but once in a while I need 200mg when I just do ant pull myself out of the funk. A big dose of protein will usually help keep me up.

MS fatigue is like nothing else. But I have found that if I get a good amount of be protein in the morning it does help some & keep my head & core cool. It doesn't totally stop fatigue but it does slow it down.
