More details:

Join MSAA and Dr. Fernando Cuascut, Doctor of Medicine and Master of Public Health, for this Mental Health Awareness Month discussion on the emotional, social, and psychological influences of mental wellness and MS.

Each year millions of people experience long-term and short-term challenges to managing mental health. Mental Health Awareness Month occurs each May to bring awareness about these experiences, address stigmas, and advocate for how to find support. During this one-hour presentation, Dr. Cuascut will discuss topics such as how mental health is related to multiple sclerosis, how mental wellness might contribute to shared decision-making, how social contexts might influence mental health, and approaches to reducing stigmas surrounding mental health.

**** As a friendly note, this program is for informational purposes only and should not be taken as individual medical advice. For information about finding mental health support services for you or someone you care about, please connect with your trusted healthcare provider or reach out to MSAA's Client Services Helpline for resources. ****
