I had a good holiday. Hope everyone's was nice. Been a real workout with the new puppy. Been really busy and very tired. Dr's all good. Gotta get an mri soon. Been stressed over bills, my husband, and my kids not listening so I've been drinking some. And I'm trying to stop soda. Dose anyone know if drinking I don't get drunk just relax can affect you ms?

Good question
Any more than 2 drinks will affect my gait to the point where people accuse me of having MS.
I value mobility more than a buzz.To relax, I like to meditate.
I'm drunk enough without drinking but you should check with your neurologist
I don’t think it’s great for MS. Maybe an occasional drink. I don’t drink, but avoiding alcohol was one of the first things my neuro mentioned to me. I’m already unsteady enough on my feet and don’t need anymore help, lol.
I haven't noticed it negatively affecting my MS, but I also only pour a drink about once every 2 or 3 months. I drink it while I'm relaxing in my armchair in front of the TV and then go to bed an hour later, so I don't really know if it affects my gait. I'm a firm believe in everything in moderation (not that I listen to myself!), so I'd say to just try it and see what happens.
I would watch it because of your meds. I cannot have alcohol because of my meds. (Except I have a margarita on my birthday. Frozen, no salt.)
Hi Jackjosh Unfortunately i think it might make things worse. As others have said, I already walk like a drunken sailor on a good day, 100% sober. Memory also might be impaired and probably not good with medications.
I don’t drink 🍺unless it’s one glass of wine 🍷 for a special occasion 🍾- my meds don’t add Keats like it and neither does my head.
I find getting rest😴, some art therapy🎨 and meditation 🧘♀️ helps. 🤗
