Woke up this morning, and once again the area from my front door, far down the driveway is covered in snow!
I'm tired of being trapped in my house by what becomes a sheet of ice!
And I've got an appointment for a ultra sound of my liver tomorrow. ARRRRRRGH!

Snow is bad enough, ice is scary😱 hope you get shoveled out in time. Ice Melt, lots and lots of Ice Melt, we go through bags of it.
And I always forget to buy it until I need it...then find every local store out of the stuff. SO I put a big red-ink note to myself on the calendar page for September 2022: BUY ICE MELT! I hope this does the trick,,,but that remains to be seen.
Our ground has been bare for the last week, but now they're calling for an ice storm just in time for rush hour tonight. I want warm weather and flowers!

I'd be ok with snow, but we just keep getting ice or a mix. I'd like my frigid winter back, the fear of busting my butt every time I leave the house is real!! 🥵 Be careful!! 🙏
I can walk through snow. Ice, however, is a totally different proposition and we've had 'way too much ice this winter.
We (northern Indiana) had a gasp of winter as well. But next week it's in the 50s!! 😊

In an emergency you can use table salt to de-ice tho.. FYI.. also water filter salt can be used.. If you cannot find de-icing salt or de-icer, look for pelletized lime at the home depot or hardware store.. This will melt the ice and its so much better the environment. When I had my landscape company in NC we included ice and snow removal in our contracts and we never put salt down. we always used pelletized lime instead.. It does melt the ice and snow and like i said it doesn't damage the the lawns, shrubs or driveways the way salt can
