I only had to take the bus for about 6000 miles. I homeschooled my kids and made sure they knew how fortunate they were to have to only make it to the dining room.

I had to take 2 different buses. The school that I could walk to wasn't in my district! That was the joy of living in the big city.🤣

hahahaha.. My husband used to tell my kids that he walked uphill both ways to and from school in the blinding snowstorms with holes in his shoes that he has stuffed card board into to make them not so holey.. then he would have to place the card board next to the wood stove with his holey shoes each night so they could dry out and be ready for the next school day.. ROFL!
