Be careful out there and know what you are shooting at or pointing an arrow at. Have a great fall and enjoy the outdoors ππππ€ Ken πΎπΎπΎπΎ

Hunting season is here π
Yes, cows donβt die so easy when shot unless you are a good shot π€
I am surprised that the cow isn't sporting a yellow vest, Kenu π€£
There are those who prefer beef over venison? Do you think that will help?
No joke, I knew goat folks who used orange spray on theirs this time of year.
When I was little and had some land we had to do that to our horse!!! Really
We did too! Also for the dogs, the cat, the goats, and us kids. But that didn't help much against the jerks shooting at the first thing that moved...especially when the shooter couldn't see what they were shooting at. My dad called them "Stupid city slickers". One of them was arrested by a state trooper for poaching after he almost hit me with an arrow, my dad beat the snot out him before the trooper arrived on scene, a few days before hunting season even started. The poacher claimed he was getting a "jump start on hunting season." The trooper said "Ya. That's called poaching." The poacher tried demanding that the trooper arrest my dad for assault and battery. The trooper said "I have a better idea. Why don't I also arrest you for the attempted murder of a 6 year old?" The poacher shut his mouth.
Good thing he was a bad shot, Peruzzot , because I cannot imagine this forum without you! π€
The only reason he missed was because I bent down to puck up something I dropped. Otherwise it would have gone through my neck. I felt the arrow whiz right behind my neck and it stuck into a tree right next to me. Poacher was excited that he thought he "got something." The look on his face changed very quickly when he saw my dad, a very angry 6ft muscle bound US Marine, charging in his direction. He turned around and started running for his life. He barely made it to the road when my dad caught up to him. State trooper showed up very shortly after that. The cops, who normally don't patrol in our area at all, were already looking for poacher and his buddy. They had already received several complaints from our neighbors.
where i live now, quite a few people need signs. of course, they might do better with pictures, though i suppose they could read and understand 'cow.'π€£
my ex father-in-law did just that,he was 89 and his sons set him against a tree and told him not to leave but he proceded to shoot the neighbors cow,he learned that they cost 1200.00 small price to pay,i think his sons needed to pay it!who gives an 89 year old a rifle?duhhhh!
Kenu I have given this a lot of thought & did you write cow on both sides of her? cause I would have put spots then dalmation on the other side & really confuse them!
Sorry couldn't resist that my sister said that would only work for city folks! lolol Mary
