Rozy the golden doodle is turning seven and still has her first toys 🧸. Never chews them up and they get washed about every 3-4 months. Never buy any with glass eyes or Sniper tears them out. Fortunately neither one chews out squeakers 🤞😉😆

Sorry he went deaf, a friend of mine has a dog that is deaf and blind! Her other dog has learned to keep track of the other and leads him the food dishes and to the doggie door. They are so amazing.

What would we do without pets? dogs? cats? parrots? others?

They provide TLC back ("unconditional love"), keep us moving, keep us busy, entertain us, make us laugh...I'm a cat person, not a dog person. Love my cats. They understand but they don't really understand. Who cares? they are whatever I need them to be at the time I need. My only commitment is to take really good care of them.

So true! After maybe the 10th squeakectomy, we stopped providing opportunities to our dalmation puppy. Once the squeaker was removed, she had no interest in what remained. I still use an old cookbook that reminds me of her chewing habits. The back cover was apparently quite tasty (no doubt caused by a sloppy moment in the kitchen!) Thanks for the trip down memory lane.
