Now they said she was part Australian Shepherd.... But I don't see it? She has some Rott markings, and short hair...
Jasper is still kinda checking her out 🤣 but no one has been hurt... So I figure it's a good thing!

yay! congrats. pets are the best. for years i told my mum how wonderful it is to have pets. she said i was gross for kissing my furbabies and loved them too much... cut to: yesterday my mum held her maltese, called him her baby, patted his back like she was burping a baby and kissed him on the mouth. yeah, i'm the weirdo😂.
i can see the shepherd around the snout and maybe a little in the eyes. hopefully jasper will get used to sprite pretty quickly and everyone will get to enjoy that hyperactive puppy stage!❤️

What a pretty girl! Her markings are similar to my Molly who has a thick undercoat and long fur like aGerman shepherd but herding instincts like a border collie so who knows. And does it really matter except as a point of curiosity? But tell Sprite hello from me. I'm so glad she's joined your family! I know you're already planning her Halloween get up!
The spots on her snout do remind me of Australian shepherd, she’s a beauty so lucky to find her home with you. Sometimes I like dogs more than people - shhh did I just say that LOL. Enjoy you are both very fortunate to have found one another

Her eyes still look a little unsure. I just saw a photo of our dog from 7 years ago when we first got her. Same look. Now? Pure love. I'm sure it wouldn't take long for your little Sprite to get the same look.
She is adorable! I had an Aussie & I can see it in here coloring on her face, chest & legs. In the pic it looks like her tail is also missing like an Aussie. She should be a great dog!
