Thank you EVERYONE for the hugs and love and prayers that y'all sent! Believe it or not, it felt like a lot of Angel Wings Wrapped around me! So I thank you all from the bottom of my heart! π
I got home on Friday afternoon with a final DX of Pancreatitis π whatever that is!π€£π I still have to look it up! Any help would be greatly appreciated!π
Although I did ask if we could cut it outπ€£ my Dr said it's prob not a good idea, as it would cause more trouble than I need!ππ I just looked at him from the hospital bed! Seriously?! ππ€£
Soooo? Is there a frequent flyer program for the hospital? I'm building up a ton of points! I should be able to get something really good here soon! πππ
Enough about me βΊοΈ what about You? How are You ma darlings?!? Please tell me you are ok!!! And if not? We can talk more about me! π

We missed you too! So happy that you are out of that Nasty old hospital and back home! I've had 2 mini Schnauzers that were prone to Pancreatitis, poor babies, and had to spend days in the vet hospital with IV lines in to keep them hydrated. Both had to be treated with a change in their diets, but I don't know if it's the same with human pets! Katie lived to be 18 years old, but I cooked her food. She had a mixture of chicken with vegetables and either rice or pasta. That's it! She learned to love it! I hope you are feeling much better soon!
leking1 just to let you know that I am reading up on the Mayo Clinic for the Pancreas and found this!! Once you leave the hospital, you can take steps to continue your recovery from pancreatitis, such as:
Stop drinking alcohol. If you're unable to stop drinking alcohol on your own, ask your doctor for help. Your doctor can refer you to local programs to help you stop drinking.
Stop smoking. If you smoke, quit. If you don't smoke, don't start. If you can't quit on your own, ask your doctor for help. Medications and counseling can help you quit smoking.
*Choose a low-fat diet. Choose a diet that limits fat and emphasizes fresh fruits and vegetables, whole grains, and lean protein.
Drink more fluids. Pancreatitis can cause dehydration, so drink more fluids throughout the day. It may help to keep a water bottle or glass of water with you.
So you are right about the chicken and rice thing! π€£π€ππ
Yes, although, neither dog would eat any kind of fruit! And the other one had a bad reaction to any kind of beef, so we stuck with lean boneless chicken and brown rice! Hang in there, Girl! We are all pulling for you!
Welcome back! Glad youβre out of the hospital and doing better.
Glad that you are out of the hospital and at home recuperating, Jesmcd2 . Please stay out of the hospital, because you don't get frequent patient points to be applied to anything!
Thank you BlanketTime1 ! Plans?? Blah! πππ I have been looking for a new puppy at the SPCA but I have to get better 1st. π I don't think you can make plans with MS?!? Well you can, just be prepared to change them at a moments notice. π€£π π€ππ
I wake up to a cat staring at meπ... Who then begins his races to the door to beat me... The doors open! He's a freak of nature!π» π€£ And yuppers I have been looking a little bit for a new puppers π Thank you
