I am on my second pain pump so my normal is 4-6 on good days. Before the first pump I was a 10+ daily with lots of oral medications. Best decision I made was a pain pump π Donβt due any other pain medication except once in a while ibuprofen or Tylenol. Nice being off all the drugs πππ€ππ€ Ken πΎπΎ
i am so sorry with all of this bs...can't they come up with something that work for you ...they always think all of us can use one thing and it will work because it does for others ...i remind them i am different and i agree with the child breath they told me that isn't pain just the pressure ...well i don't have any pain level it just hurts and i admit i am a baby when it comes to pain....they can't believe how much meds i have to have ...same at the eye doctor for i have to have pain meds before he starts with the shots...i tell them if it is a guy i will grab your balls and lets here you ...does it hurt and i tell you that then they listen to me for i think they get scared then ....hahahhahahahhha....just tell them how really really really how bad it is and that you need some different meds for these are not working at all...this is your body and they can't tell you how bad it is ...sure hope they change them for you ,that has a major stress to add to the disease and they should know that you don't need any more stress ...sleep is so important ...wow...prayers to get it to stop...sorry that doesn't help ....love and getting much comfort ....laugh laugh giggles ...wow fire crackers ...
I'm sorry you are having so much trouble. It must be in the air. I've had issues that are making me miserable & that seem to activate MS flairs for the past 2 months. My MS pain level is about 1-2 unless there is a flair then it goes up at times to 6-7. My overall pain level is at a constant10 from back & knee pain. I hope you start feeling better soon!
My pain level is pretty constant at an 8 or 9, but it has been for so long that I just live with it! Meds help for about an hour. Sorry you are hurting, hopefully you feel better!
all day and night its a 10 you have to have m.s. to know what the hell we are talking about when i get aflare up or what ever you want to call em an i cant walk or have fallen and em trying with all mine power than its a 100
Fortunately it's at a zero for me. My wife was in pain after surgery once and the Anestheologist asked her to rate her pain as a "9 you'd want to shoot yourself and if a 10 you'd want to shoot me." I have been in pain before and I realize that it can be overwhelming. I hope your pain ends soon.
My wife who has MS has pain but not necessarily MS pain, more like lower back and joint pain. What has really helped her is methadone, 5mg twice a day which is a low dose. Have the doctor write βfor painβ on the prescription.. good luck. I know pain can be debilitating.
I am so sorry you are experiencing this. Prayers that you get some relief soon, and that everyone quits hassling you about your pain levels. πβ€οΈ
I broke mine in 1982 and youβre so right. I live at a constant 8-9 and thatβs with a fentanyl patch and 30 mg of oxycodone every 4 hrs. Since my surgery last August it hasnβt let up for a minute.
I live at a 6 and take tramadol as needed for it. Any kind of new pain can push me over the edge tho! ππ How are you doing my friend? π€ππ
Hi ya Jes. Iβm still stumbling along but I can keep on going as long as my Modafinil last every day.π€ͺπ. Still hurting day and night. Iβve grown immune to my meds but they help for a little while so I keep taking.
I start some new physical therapy July 7 th. My home therapy group said I needed to be where they had some machines to progress any further. Without my rollator Iβm like a new born calf. If this pt can get me standing up straight and at least walking with a cane Iβll be satisfied.
Now how are you doing now that youβre out of the hospital? Donβt it feel good to be home?ππ
