I am so sorry! Love and prayers for both of you!
Situations such as you have described are very difficult. I am so sorry you had had this happen to you.
Do you have family and can any of them help you on a spread out basis...that means one may help on Monday, another on Wednesday and then another on Friday? Nieces and nephews might help on the weekends?
If you have no family, you may have to reconsider future plants.
I have a similar situation in that my family all live at least 1000 miles from me. The town where I do live is actually too small to be described as a town...it has about 150 people and it is situated in the middle of corn....there is no pharmacy, gas station, little food store like a Handimart, no doctor nor hospitals within 30 miles, and most of the people here are related to each other and all the rest are not considered to be people but "outsiders". The water supply always smells and tastes like bleach. There is ZERO public transportation.
I have lived here 20 years and would give my eye teeth to live near some people I love and enjoy being with.
I know my demise will be without others. The last death here was quite "normal" in that the really nice woman laid on her floor for three days before someone found her and she could get medical attention. She then died shortly thereafter.
Perhaps others who read this have better solutions. I hope so.
Comoesta ...can your family help you relocate closer to them? My last nearby family moved 1200 miles away this past December. Luckily I have some really great neighbors and a couple of friends that arenβt far that I can contact if I need to. Itβs still scary since I have a tendency to fall. I canβt imagine how it would be in such a small place without family or adequate medical care nearby.
Oh dear, I wish I were next door. If I were, I'd help take care of meal preparation. When I broke my wrist, I was one-handed for 3 months, so I know the struggle ahead. And at the same time to have the worry about your man, I'm so sorry for the pair of you. Once again, there's an old adage that fits, it never rains but it pours.
Praying for you, your husband and your situation
I am so very sorry. You will both be in my thoughts. Sending hugs and love across the miles! Kelly xxx

Oh, you poor thing! It was my upper right arm that broke right before I was diagnosed with MS. Four breaks. I was lucky that I didn't have to have surgery (until I got frozen shoulder.) And your husband, too! You both have your hands full. Happy and fast healing to you both.
my thoughts and prayers are with you both
Prayers for both of you.
Troubles sure like to accompany each other sometimes! I hope the procedures go well for both you and your husband and that you heal quickly. Do you have family or friends nearby that can help out if needed?
