Good morning! I need to tell you all how much you lift my spirits. I enjoy your posts and pictures. They make my heart happy. Sometimes I just need to spend time with people who get it. You are the best! I’ve included my obligatory cute kitty pic. This is my Siberian, Irina. My Maine Coon, Molly is not a fan of having her picture taken. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Time with people who get it. Well I get it, I got it, and then some. Sorry, our cat, pick the most common looking one out there, that's it. Common shorthair. Not a lap cat. Not a guard cat. Just an annoying where's my pate cat. You know it's time to get up and give it to me, so why aren't you up and doing so yet. Alarm? Don't care that it hasn't gone off yet, give it to me. Now!

But it will follow me everywhere around the house, when not napping. So I guess he's okay?

But, interesting story. We put up with it throwing up hairballs for years. Every year, the vet said, that's normal. You use hairball kibble. Not much else to do. Then, this winter, it started throwing up clear liquid. Took it to the vet. Gave it an anti-inflammatory, and rehydrated it with shots of water under the skin. But here's the amazing point. He gave us a box of probiotics for cats. Who knew something like that even existed? This was given to us with a prescription label on it, but it's from the pet food company that starts with a P, and it's available online without a script from Amazon was as an example. Look for FortiFlora. The amazing thing is that since we've been using it, very sparingly, as too much not hidden under/in his pate, and he will stick his nose up at it. But since, no more running towards that horrible sound of the cat getting ready to throw up. No more carpet cleaning. Though we do have that part down pat. Can wake from a dead sleep to toss the cat on a hard s face. So nice not to have to after many years of having to do so. Sure the cat doesn't mind either. From a feline probiotic supplement? Nothing else changed.
