Nope, he doesn't point but he does freeze at times but mostly he will run critters up a tree or fence. He doesn't seem to have much of the pointer traits, just the beagle.

Yes, he can sing. Sometimes I think he gargles when he is singing though. He is also very talkative. As soon as he sees another person or animal he starts talking. Imagine someone putting say 10 marbles in their mouth and then try to talk. That is what Jack sounds like. He also talks when he wants out or he wants to eat or play. I've never had a dog that talked before we got him.
