Run me over!
Oh, sorry you are having trouble getting your meds. I know how you feel when they mess with your meds. If it's not the doc it's the insurance. It's the insurance that really gets me. Those people sit behind a desk. They know nothing about medical procedures or drugs, nor do they know anything about us. Yet they try to control the who, what, and when(s) of everything medical. Praying you can get it worked out soon!
I know it's crazy! Everything has to approve then approved again and again! It's enough to pull your hair out!π¨ But I will fall asleep if I don't get it soon! ππ€£π€ππ»
Wow, that's how I feel today! Hope everyone else is doing better. Sorry about your meds. I know the approvals can drive one crazy.
If you canβt sort it out, then no one can. Itβs not right that they mess with your meds, some meds are life threatening. Keep us updated π€ π« π
Well, at least they didn't paint the center line over them!
So rough and so sorry you have to deal with this!
I know what you mean!π²
I hear you Jesmcd2 they mess with my Modafinil they got a fight on their hands. Without it Iβm def a couch potato and I donβt like sitting on the couch all day. Iβve been taking it since dx so I ainβt giving it up now.
Insurance will be starting over new soon so imagine Iβll have the same fight. I take 400 mg every day so they buck up on me at renewal.
Itβs truly my lifeline.
Good luck.
Donnie
Iβm sorry.
Thatβs scary, Iβm so sorry!
I could not work without mine!
I know exactly what you mean! Mine was approved fine, but my insurance went up on the co-pay price 143%!
there are days I do feel like that! uurrgghhh!
i am sorry that they are messing with your meds...take care and maybe they are getting something better for you ...or just they are having problems getting them...
I've been on modafinil (Provigil) since I was diagnosed with ms in 2000. Every time my health insurance changed I had to have my Dr. work with the insurance company. When Obama care started, and I had to search for a drug plan in the Marker Place, the cost was very high. It is considered a Tier 5 drug. It is also a controlled substance. Luckily for me I am a veteran and the VA now takes care of my prescription but I had the same trouble getting them to approve the prescription. Once it was approved the VA requires me refill it every 30 days.
When I was trying to find drug coverage I also checked on the price in Canada. It was almost exactly the same price.
Don't give up the fight!
Good luck!
