Why I had to buy one. My old one would overheat and I was afraid to lost photos and my writing. Not to mention my manuscript. I should put all that on a good flash drive. That would be the smart thing to do. 🙁

I don't leave any files or data on my computer I back up everything to hard drive

I hate it, too. Just when you think things are running along well, there's an update or you have to start all over with a new device. Grrr....

I HATE updates! use Chrome because it will store my passwords. Microsoft doesn't like that, so my last update SCRUBBED Chrome of all my passwords, damning me to password hell. >
