I have a friend in San Jose with MS. She is really down on herself. She calls herself derogatory names. She accepts others putting her down. She has quit trying to keep active. Her depression is taking over. She is uncomfortable with counselling and therapy. I was hoping to connect her with someone local that they can chat and build a friendship or a small group that meets, (after the pandemic). I just want to give her some options to keep moving forward instead of sitting on the couch, waiting for her life to be slowly drained from her.

We have several small groups meeting In Santa Clara county that have gone virtually using Zoom video. During this shelter in place We have 3 groups meeting every week to give patients a chance for social Interaction

I would have to teach her Zoom, but I would love to offer her these as an option. I am near Chicago, doing it all remotely

Send me here email I will send out an invite to our Zoom Friday meeting at 11AM. In the invite will be a link to click on that will show how to load software. It will also have a link to join the zoom meeting with the password built in. I don't know how to send a private direct message on HealthUnlocked.
