I write for a newly diagnosed (Newby) and myself. I thought I made that clear if I have not previously, I just did. In no way am I trying to be condescending to anybody in our family. If you feel upset feel free not too read anything I post. I will not be hurt, "YOU" are possibly my audience. Just thought I would make this clear to all again.

Royce, as an older than dirt person and huge experiences with younger people, I sort of doubt anyone was chastising you for much. We are, as you have noted, all in the same boat of AI diseases, and we all have different stories to tell and all will experience different futures none of us would have chosen had we known what is in store. (Or speaking from my Buddhist perspective, perhaps we needed the futures we will get for various very personal reasons. )
However, in re-reading as many of your posts as I could find, I think none of us much want to to be preached to as it would seem you are preaching to the choir, as someone so adroitly put "it".
After all those posts I still don't have any sense of who you are, how you are accepting your issues with AI, what you really, really like to do, what you liked best in school and what you like to do now...hobbies, interactions with your family, etc.
I would love to read what you have to say about you.
now my dear sister that is being personal and I have yet to decide if I want to be to personal in a group setting. Preaching, yes that is possibly true but I have stated I am talking to a Newly Diagnosed person (NEWBIE) looking for some sort of answer of why and where do I go next and what does my future hold, beyond that an individual needs to find their own answers, I am just me I can not and will not make anybodies decisions for them.
