Congratulations Wanda – Cheyenne, WY
Twenty-seven years ago I was diagnosed with MS. To say I was scared to death with that diagnosis would be an understatement. I was terrified! Fast forward to my life today. Over this past quarter of a century I have had a very full and very rewarding life. I have raised two children, I’ve been a teacher and archeologist and I have continued to create art.
For me, painting serves as stability in the uncertainty of my health. I try to not impose self-limiting beliefs and emotions in my day-to-day life. When I’m feeling low I try to make myself happier by getting outdoors for a breath of fresh air, smiling at someone, and reading and, sometimes, I have a really good cry. In most ways I think I am stronger person then I would have been had I not been living with MS.
