MS has forced me to stop and reflect on what I love and art was at the top of my list! When I was forced to slow down by this disease I started creating more than I ever have and I must admit, it helped me to put my energy on something positive!
It has been one of the main constants in my life, and I thank God for being there for me!

Jesmcd2 Yes, it reminds me of many July 4th Celebrations. I love to see the talent of our members! I also like to see how people put together their Burgers. Lettuce, Onion, burger, etc. I do that differently, my husband does it differently. Just so we celebrate our country's Independence Day. I had a cousin 7 or 8 times back that fought for our independence and I have friends that their ancestor actually fought with George Washington to gain our independence. Anyone else here?
Great painting! It does represent America & how we celebrate it. I don't have any relatives that I know of that fought in that war but I had a great great grandfather that fought in in the civil war & wrote about his experience. It was never published but I do have a copy of it. We are all part of history but it's pretty cool when you have something tangible to relate to. Your family now has your art work to relate to!
Thank you for sharing! His writings must be so interesting. We are a family of many Veterans, almost every generation. My daughter & hubby served in Dessert Stom and son in law is Navy Pilot.
