The scene with the sheep is at Old Sturbridge Village and is an acrylic on canvas that depicts the fall foliage. The basket of plums and peaches is a water color that I painted while sitting at my dining room table during the summer. I chose this one because I like the reflection of light on the table and on the fruit.
The final painting is another acrylic on canvas. This has an interesting story to go with it. My husband’s uncle Nick, who is since deceased, was artistic and a veteran that served during Pearl Harbor and was in the Navy. One day while we were visiting him he had a photograph of this women and when I asked who it was he stated “That is the one that got away…”
The story behind the painting makes it all the more adorable in "The One Who Got Away". I love it, and thank you for sharing it with the forum, CalfeeChick Now, do you have any recent works that you wish to share?
