PET Scan?

I get MRI's all the time, Has anyone had a PET scan to see about their MS progession?

I haven't heard of anyone having this test for MS, but rather for tumors. It will be interesting to learn more about it. Thanks for you post!

I have had several PET scans, but they have been four cancer ♋️. You would do a sugar type die that lights up were Cancer ♋️ is. I was told that Cancer ♋️ attracts the-form of sugar die injected. Does your complete body head to toe ✅. Never heard of it for MS ? Let us know how it goes? Ken 🐾🐾👍

I thought they were for cancer Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) is for ms

I just read the article and from what I understand, it hasn't been done on people yet.

It looks like if it does what the researcher thinks it does based on this very small sample group that they may be able to tell if someone has RRMS vs a progressive form of MS. That would be nice and help direct treatment at diagnosis rather than having to track disease course long enough to determine and then it is still really an educated guess
