mhansenm1, get your natural swan's brown bottle of hydrogen-pryroxide, 3% place a capfull in one ear tip to the side, let sit for 3 mins, then tip it out, get your q'tip & gently clean. Then vice versa in the other ear, & repeat 3x's a week. Let me know how it goes. It helped mine & has helped almost deaf people.

Many Blessings, 😀💐🙏💪stay strong,

Jazzy🌹💜

My guess is you probably won't lose your hearing. My tinnitus waxes and wanes (i.e., louder/softer, changing in pitch), and sometimes briefly just stops. It began, intermittently, a few years before I was diagnosed and now is always there. I wish it upon everyone of the doctors whom I have consulted about it because unless they become afflicted with tinnitus, they evidently find it difficult to find empathy for those who are. I am convinced that my tinnitus is MS related, not an ear problem because a referral to an audiologist cleared me of any hearing loss.

I also have tinnitus and it waxes and wanes. The ENT I consulted said it probably won't go away, there aren't any treatments that he'd recommend, and I shouldn't lose my hearing. Mine started after I took a prescription strength dose of naproxen for a few days (at least that's what I associated the tinnitus with). I actually think I had a little tinnitus before the naproxen, but it got much much worse after the naproxen. I try to live with it, accept that it's there, and stay as distracted/engaged as possible so I don't focus on it.

Since there's no cure, and as far as I can tell little interest in eliminating it, the solution is to live with it. But it is annoying as all get out!

Mine stays the same and I've learned to ignore it. Despite many claims to the opposit, I don't think that anything can help. My ENT suggested a Flavanoid, which supports Inner Ear health - Capillary health and Microcirculation in the Inner Ear. Dietary Supplement - but it didn't help.

I too have tinnitus. I haven’t seen a Dr for it. It comes and goes. Annoying but so are a lot of things that come with MS. Is it age related ( I am 65) or MSrelated? Who knows. Until it gets unbearable I will live with it. Don’t need any more drugs and friends who have been to Drs haven’t really had any relief

I have tinnitus. when ever it comes up I stop to check and its there. that's the ok part. its not ok when it occasionally gets so loud that it takes over. I do have some left sided hearing loss. the only suggestion for help so far is hearing aids. which my MD says not yet
